The LABEX / Enterprises Day “Photonics: Controlling the material to develop tomorrow’s optical fibers” organized by LABEX ∑-LIM was held on October 12, 2021, at the Conseil Départemental de la Haute-Vienne. This exchange day, in line with one of its flagship “Bringing a new light on photonics“, was held in three parts: a morning dedicated to conferences, poster sessions during lunch and in the afternoon three thematic round tables: Transparent ceramics for photonics, Fiber lasers and Photonics and quantum.

This day, rich in exchanges, was an opportunity to bring together different players in the value chain with complementary skills, to bring out the needs and identify opportunities for future optical systems and quantum technologies.
