Phos-fer – Innovative treatment of phosphorus in waste water

The Phos-Fer project follows the thesis of Pauline Lanet, who developed an innovative process for treating phosphorus in wastewater at the E2Lim laboratory. ➡️ the process operates in an economical and environmentally friendly manner (minimization of energy requirements, production of recoverable waste) Following an experimental phase, a demonstrator was set up in May 2023 on a station operated by Limoges Métropole, thanks to funding from the French Biodiversity Agency, the Loire-Bretagne Water Agency and the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the continued support of Limoges Métropole. ✅ This demonstrator will run until May 2025 and will be monitored by the Water Technical Center and the E2Lim laboratory You can see a presentation of the patent filed for this project here.
