Report on AL amyloidosis – Filière MaRIH
The Filières de Santé Maladies Rares (FSMR) were created following a call for projects by the Ministry of Health in the summer of 2013 (second national plan for rare diseases 2011-2016).
The main objective of these FSMRs is to lead and coordinate actions between the various players involved in the care of rare diseases. This grouping allows many cross-disciplinary actions to be taken between various diseases which are very similar in terms of their management.
Among the 23 networks identified in 2014, the Rare Immuno-Haematological Diseases (MaRIH) network brings together all those involved in the management of these diseases, including 12 rare disease centres of reference (CRMR) in France, including the Centre of Reference for AL amyloidosis and other diseases caused by the deposition of monoclonal immunoglobulins (CR AL), directed by Professor Arnaud Jaccard. This reference centre works in close collaboration with the CRIBL laboratory and in particular with the BioPIC team.
