Official visit by Emmanuel Roux, Deputy Rector for Higher Education, Research, and Innovation

Last week, the CRIBL laboratory had the honor of participating in the official visit organized by the OmegaHealth Institute, attended by Emmanuel Roux, recteur délégué à l’enseignement supérieur, à la recherche et à l’innovation, Vincent Jolivet, President of the University of Limoges; Anne Massoni, Vice President for Research; and Pierre Blondy, Vice President for Commercialization and Innovation.

This meeting, part of a series of visits to the University’s laboratories and platforms, highlighted the diversity of the work conducted at OmegaHealth and the quality of its technological infrastructure. On this occasion, Éric Pinaud, Director of CRIBL, presented the laboratory’s scientific priorities.

CRIBL contributes directly to several of the Institute’s interdisciplinary projects, particularly through its involvement in the technology platforms. The imaging platform is led by Claire Carrion, a research engineer at the laboratory, who coordinates the platform’s activities and supports research teams in exploring living systems at various scales—from the molecular level to the organism.

This visit provided an opportunity for fruitful exchanges between academic and institutional stakeholders, demonstrating the dynamism and complementary nature of the University of Limoges’ research units.

CRIBL is establishing itself as a key player in regional biomedical research, drawing on the expertise of its teams and the power of its tools to address the major health challenges of tomorrow.
