Inserm Research Facility Directors’ Day in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

In early April, the Inserm Nouvelle-Aquitaine regional delegation organized the Research Unit Directors’ Day, bringing together the heads of research units, departments, and CICs in the region for a session of discussion and reflection on current issues in biomedical research.

The CRIBL unit participated in this event, represented by its director, Eric Pinaud. This meeting, focused on fostering dialogue between the research units and the delegation, helped strengthen ties among regional stakeholders and provided an opportunity to share common challenges and the solutions being implemented.

Following an introduction by Richard Salives, Inserm’s regional representative, the morning was devoted to a presentation of the delegation’s services and several current topics: psychosocial risk management, cybersecurity, management tools, and challenges encountered with SIFAC+.

The afternoon featured inspiring discussions on digital technology and artificial intelligence with Hugues Berry, head of Inserm’s AI & Digital Division, followed by a discussion on clinical research with Jean-Jacques Kiladjian, who presented the Clinical Research Division and spoke about the future Department of Clinical Research & Investigation.

This day, rich in discussions and new perspectives, underscores the importance of collaborative work within the delegation and the leading role of research institutions in the region’s scientific landscape.

CRIBL commends this unifying initiative and thanks the Inserm Nouvelle-Aquitaine delegation for organizing the event and for the quality of the discussions.
