XLIM – UMR 7252 CNRS / Université de Limoges. The XLIM’s participants are coming from multidisciplinary research fields and have a long-term experience in the domains covered by the proposed project (phase-transition materials fabrication and integration, RF/ microwave devices design and micro fabrication, optoelectronic systems). Their research activities are developed within the MINT project of the XLIM’s RF-ELITE axis (RF and printed electronics for telecommunications and energy) and are devoted to the design, fabrication, simulation and testing of micro and nano components for microwave and optics. The XLIM team has an extensive experience on VO2 materials integration in high-frequency devices (RF-microwave, THz). First-time demonstrations (at international levels) include thermal and electrical activated VO2-based switches (in the DC to MW, THz and optical domains), X-band filters, broadband power limiters, agile metamaterials in the THz domain, VO2-based millimeter-waves antennas etc.
