IRCER team (Institut de Recherche sur les Céramiques IRCER (UMR CNRS 7315, University Limoges) researches concern the field of laser interactions with materials. It developed an important know how towards the numerical simulations of the phenomena involved in the laser-materials interaction and the experimental fabrication of advanced nano-composite materials: thin films deposition (PLD) and synthesis of nanostructured materials. In collaboration with XLIM laboratory, the integration of new “smart materials” such as AlN, ZnO, TiO or VO2 in RF MEMS devices is achieved (topics involving now in the laboratory of excellence ∑-LIM Labex associating IRCER and XLIM). Moreover, IRCER participants possess a large experience in the morphological, structural, optical and electrical characterizations of materials.
