LAB-STICC (Laboratoire des Sciences et Techniques de l’Information, de la Communication et de la Connaissance, UMR CNRS 6285‎) is a public research laboratory affiliated to CNRS with research expertise that can be summarised as “communicating and deciding: from sensors to knowledge”. The scientific objectives of the laboratory are centred on three research departments. MOM department (Micro-waves, Optoelectronics, Materials) is the one involved in MUFRED and is composed of more than 110 persons (permanent researchers, PhD students, post-doctoral fellows) and is a major actor at national, european and international levels in microwave components: from electromagnetic materials, resonators, filters, phase shifters up to systems,…). The design of reconfigurable circuits while taking into account and modeling the material or switch behavior in RF design software is one of their core competences.
