IETR (Institut d’Electronique et Télécommunications de Rennes, UMR CNRS 6164) is a public research laboratory affiliated to CNRS with research expertise in antenna design, microwave and RF architectures and systems, digital communications, remote sensing, image / signal processing, etc. IETR is organized into 10 research teams. The SRC team (SRC: “Systèmes Rayonnants Complexes”) is the one involved in MUFRED. This is one of the largest team in Europe in Antenna systems at the academic level, with 91 persons (permanent researchers, PhD students, post-doctoral fellows). This team has been involved in a large number of national and European projects ranging from HF to THz frequencies.
