In this context, Poitiers students participated in a hackathon and developed, in collaboration with students from the engineering school IMERIR Perpignan, original artificial intelligence solutions to a problem of indexing image databases in a big data context, proposed by the company Einden, located in Poitiers and specializing in software publishing, including Ephoto Dam, one of the reference solutions in the field of Digital Asset Management (DAM) in France. The development of research work in partnership with the Xlim laboratory (UMR CNRS 7252) of the University of Poitiers has led to the creation in 2022 of a joint ANR laboratory (Labcom ANR Damialab).

Students from the University of Poitiers were the winners of this hackathon and were selected to present their results at the 5th Dataquitaine day, a day offering 30 talks from companies and laboratories in the New Aquitaine region on the themes of artificial intelligence, operational research and data science.
