Les Cordées de la Recherche 2024

A look back at the two days of the Cordées de la Recherche, 2024 edition.

During these days, our M1 students were able to present the fruit of their work in the form of a poster. For several months, M1 students join a laboratory to carry out a research project supervised primarily by a doctoral student. In this system, the M1 student is totally immersed in a research team, including the doctoral student, the thesis directors and possibly the M2 interns.

Our students also had the honor of attending conferences, including:

    • Laure HUITEMA (Associate professor at the XLIM Institute, received the CNRS bronze medal in 2020 for her work on radiofrequency systems): “Non-reciprocal passive components for high-frequency devices based on ferrite materials
    • Damien ANDRE (Associate professor at École Nationale Supérieure de Céramique Industrielle) : “Introduction to the mechanics of ceramic materials using an experimental approach based on image correlation”
    • Guillaume LAVOUE (Professor at the National School of Engineers of Saint-Étienne (ENISE), affiliated with the École Centrale de Lyon, Virtual Reality and Computer Graphics): “Multisensory Virtual Reality – Going beyond audio-visual stimuli to push the boundaries of immersion and realism”
    • Olivier BLAZY (Professor at the École Polytechnique, Teaching and Research in Cybersecurity/Cryptography): “La vérification d’âge, et la protection de la vie privée, une équation impossible à résoudre ?
