Research

Research Engineer shared between the U1248 Pharmacology and Transplantation laboratory and the BISCEm platform

Within U1248, participation in research projects requiring expertise in biochemistry and/or mass spectrometry:

  • Development of sample preparation methods and analytical methods in mass spectrometry necessary for the advancement of research projects (short-chain fatty acids, drugs, etc.)
  • Development of ELISA and Western Blot assays

Within the BISCEm platform, as manager of the mass spectrometry unit:

  • Mass spectrometry services for small and large molecules: development and execution of experiments (sample preparation, LC-MS/MS analyses)
  • Data analysis and presentation of results
  • Cost management (cost calculation, preparation of quotes) and technical resources management (equipment investment decisions, maintenance, and servicing)
  • Supervision and demonstration

Teaching

  • Biotechnology course (UE) of the Master 2 “Bio-Health”, Limoges: presentation and tour of the mass spectrometry platform
  • Jury member for the BTS “BioAnalyses et Contrôles”, Lycée R. Dautry, Limoges
