A look back at the 2026 edition of the Research Climbing Rope
On March 26th and 27th, the Research Climbing rope (“Cordées de la Recherche”) 2026 workshop took place.
During these two days, our first-year Master’s students presented the results of their work in the form of scientific posters.
For several months, first-year Master’s students join a laboratory to carry out a research project, primarily supervised by a doctoral student. In this program, the first-year Master’s student is fully immersed in a research team, including the doctoral student, thesis supervisors, and potentially second-year Master’s interns.
Our students also had the honor of attending conferences, including:
- Manuella CERBELAUD (IRCER) – “Shaping Ceramics by Colloidal Self-Assembly.”
- Cédric EICHLER (INSA Centre Val-de-Loire) – “How to Build Your PET: Understanding and Defending Against Privacy Threats”
- Emmanuelle FRENOUX (Polytech Paris Saclay) – “Digital Technology and the Environmental Emergency: Understanding the Issues, Knowing How to Act”
- Thomas FROMENTEZE (XLIM) – “Emerging Materials and Devices Without Blueprints”
