Last week the EUR TACTIC launched the 2024 edition of its doctoral module.

Combining personal coaching and international professional mobility over a period of at least 2 months, TACTIC offers a dozen doctoral students personalized support throughout the 3 years of thesis. This involves offering doctoral students a support space to improve their skills in terms of interpersonal skills and know-how, in addition to the academic framework specific to their research work.

The support, provided by a certified coach, is rather focused on relational issues (taking one’s place in the lab, preventing conflicts, developing one’s interpersonal skills, etc.) and organizational issues (managing one’s time and priorities, maintaining one’s stamina and motivation over the months, etc.).
