The Green Financial Policy Index measures policy adoption and formal design stringency, and ranges from 0 to 100, with higher values indicating a broader and formally more stringent set of implemented policies.
Global Green Financial Policy Benchmark
Download “Benchmarking Green Financial Policies: Developing a Composite Index for Cross-Country Analysis” which introduces a new global database and composite index measuring the scope and stringency of green financial policies across 186 countries from 2006 to 2024.
A new project sponsored by the Université de Limoges and the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine that examines how countries design and implement green financial policies, and creates a new tool for benchmarking policy scope and stringency across countries and over time.
