I did my thesis in the CNRS 6101 unit under the supervision of Yves Denizot. My work focused on the study of the role of the 3’RR regulatory region of the IgH locus of the heavy chains of immunoglobulins in B lymphopoiesis and B lymphomagenesis. For this I have developed several animal models which have made it possible in particular to show the role of this 3’RR region during late stages of B development as well as in the deregulation of oncogenes in Burkitt lymphoma or mantle lymphoma.
Subsequently, I did a post-doctorate at the Marseille Cancer Research Center INSERM U1068 in Estelle DUPREZ’s team. The objective was to study, via animal models, the role of the transcription factor PLZF in the stem cell compartment during aging. I also developed a collaboration with Alice Carrier (Team Juan Iovanna) with whom I studied the role of Tp53inp1 in B lymphopoiesis.
In 2014, I again joined the CNRS 7276 unit (ex-6101) in Jean Feuillard’s team to develop my research axis on indolent lymphomas and more specifically Waldenström’s disease and the role of Myd88 as an event primary in the emergence of this disease.
In parallel with my research activities, since 2014, I have been teaching molecular and cellular biology and physiology (vacation, ATER post) at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques of Limoges and I lead scientific popularization workshops aimed at schools in the region (Scientibus and Lusci workshops).
