Christophe Sirac at the 5th European Proteomics Amyloid Network in Greece

CRIBL is proud to announce the remarkable participation of Christophe Sirac, head of the BioPIC team, as a keynote speaker at the 5th European Proteomics Amyloid Network (EPAN) meeting, held on March 20-21, 2026, at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.

A European Network Dedicated to Amyloid Proteomics

Established in 2017, the EPAN network brings together scientists and clinicians from 17 countries to advance amyloid typing through proteomics, clinical case interpretation, quality control, and method validation. This 5th edition, following meetings in London (2017), Uppsala (2019), Kiel (2023), and Pavia (2025), focused on six key areas shaping the future of amyloid proteomics, exclusively for network members.

Key Contribution from CRIBL’s BioPIC Team

Specialist in plasma cells, immunopathology, and cancer—particularly AL amyloidosis involving immunoglobulin light chain deposits—Christophe Sirac enriched discussions with his expertise in experimental models and amyloid pathophysiology. As leader of the ANR PRC ModAL project and an FRM-labeled AL-Mod team, his presentations highlight CRIBL’s commitment to translational research on B-cell hematological malignancies and lymphoproliferations.

This international presence strengthens CRIBL’s and the University of Limoges’ visibility on the European stage in oncology and proteomics.
