Academic profile

Research, leadership and education

I am a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Limoges and a member of the XLIM Research Institute. My research lies at the interface of optimization, variational analysis and nonsmooth dynamical systems. It combines theoretical developments with applications to unilateral contact mechanics and optimal control, as well as the design and analysis of numerical optimization algorithms.
