We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Matthew Doogue, Consultant Physician in Clinical Pharmacology and General Medicine at Christchurch Hospital and Associate Professor at the University of Otago in New Zealand, for his insightful presentation on « Adverse Drug Reactions: definitions, systems, and bad data. »

Matthew has spent the past couple of weeks with us in Limoges as part of his sabbatical, following visits to Oxford and Edinburgh. It has been a pleasure to host him and benefit from his expertise and insights.

His thought-provoking presentation explored the complexities of adverse drug reactions, highlighting the importance of robust definitions, reliable reporting systems, and high-quality data in improving patient safety and advancing clinical pharmacology.

Thank you, Matt, for sharing your knowledge and contributing to such valuable discussions!
