Two CRIBL researchers rewarded by the Ligue contre le cancer
During the “cancer research” day organized by the league against cancer on November 14, the CRIBL laboratory (Control of the Immune B Response and Lymphoproliferation) UMR CNRS 7276 / INSERM 1262 directed by Michel Cogné was put in the honor thanks to the obtaining of two prizes:
– one granted to Lilian Roland, doctoral student co-supervised by Dr Christelle Vincent-Fabert and Professor Jean Feuillard. This prize rewards his work on Waldenström’s disease with the establishment of a preclinical model in order to develop new therapeutic strategies specific to this pathology.*
– the other granted to Nour Ghazzaui, a young doctor from Yves Denizot’s team (DR2 INSERM) for her work on the study of the role of two DNA regions (Eµ and 3’RR) important for the synthesis of immunoglobulins but which in certain cases such as during genetic alterations are the cause of B lymphomas.
