We also investigate the impact of mutations or genetic polymorphisms on the structure and function of ABC transporters.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"panel panel-gray\">\n            <div class=\"panel-heading\">\n                <h3 class=\"panel-title\">\n                    <a data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#object1815\" href=\"#object1858\">Modeling of Passive Permeation<\/a>\n                <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n            <div id=\"object1858\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse \">\n                <div class=\"panel-body\">\n                  \n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Through molecular dynamics simulations, we explore the interactions between drugs and membranes with atomic resolution. Our research aims to predict the passive permeation coefficients that govern the passage of molecules through membranes, which are crucial in pharmacology. More specifically, our goal is to model and understand the complexity of the interactions between drugs and membranes.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n                <div class=\"panel panel-gray\">\n            <div class=\"panel-heading\">\n                <h3 class=\"panel-title\">\n                    <a data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#object1815\" href=\"#object1876\">Organ-on-a-chip<\/a>\n                <\/h3>\n            <\/div>\n            <div id=\"object1876\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse \">\n                <div class=\"panel-body\">\n                  \n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We are developing organ-on-a-chip models to explore the influence of membrane transporters on inter-organ communication and their impact on local pharmacokinetics, in connection with the <em>Remote Sensing Signalling Theory<\/em>.
