Cependant, concevoir des architectures tridimensionnelles en c\u00e9ramique de forme complexe reste un d\u00e9fi de taille. Ces travaux, r\u00e9alis\u00e9s dans le cadre du projet \u00ab\u00a0Substituts en c\u00e9ramiques mimant l\u2019os (MimOsA)\u00a0\u00bb impliquant l\u2019IRCER et les Instituts XLIM et PPRIME, ont ainsi pour objet de d\u00e9velopper une architecture c\u00e9ramique poreuse mimant l&rsquo;os trab\u00e9culaire naturel, et d\u2019en \u00e9tudier le comportement biologique.<\/p>\n<p>Pour cela, des \u00e9chantillons d&rsquo;os, pr\u00e9lev\u00e9s au Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Limoges selon les r\u00e8gles d\u2019\u00e9thique en vigueur, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 scann\u00e9s par microtomographie aux rayons\u00a0X pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une base de donn\u00e9es de mod\u00e8les 3D. \u00c0 partir de cette conception assist\u00e9e par ordinateur (fichiers .STL), des architectures c\u00e9ramique (HA) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fa\u00e7onn\u00e9es couche par couche par fabrication additive en utilisant la st\u00e9r\u00e9olithographie (SLA). Cette technique permet de r\u00e9aliser une fabrication directe de pi\u00e8ces 3D avec une architecture complexe poreuse contr\u00f4l\u00e9e (pr\u00e9cision de l\u2019ordre de la centaine de microns). Ensuite, les pi\u00e8ces ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fritt\u00e9es pour obtenir des architectures c\u00e9ramiques denses.<\/p>\n<p>Les pi\u00e8ces crues et fritt\u00e9es ainsi obtenues ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compar\u00e9es respectivement aux fichiers\u00a0.STL de d\u00e9part et au mod\u00e8le osseux humain \u00e0 reproduire (\u00e9paisseur de la paroi, taille et g\u00e9om\u00e9trie du r\u00e9seau poreux) \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une analyse d&rsquo;images. Les param\u00e8tres machine optimaux n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l\u2019obtention de ces substituts mim\u00e9tiques ont ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9finis.<\/p>\n<p>Des cultures de cellules souches m\u00e9senchymateuses humaines (hMSC) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es pour \u00e9tudier les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s biologiques de ces structures (attachement et prolif\u00e9ration des cellules hMSC). Pour mener \u00e0 bien cette \u00e9tude cellulaire, des outils de caract\u00e9risation de pointe pr\u00e9sents sur la plateforme Biscem ont notamment \u00e9t\u00e9 employ\u00e9s.
