D\u2019origine arm\u00e9nienne, il se passionne tr\u00e8s jeune pour le piano et entre \u00e0 la Berklee School of Music de Boston en 1977. En 1983 il cr\u00e9e les premiers succ\u00e8s de Liane Foly que sont\u00a0<em>\u00ab\u00a0Au fur et\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><em>\u00e0 mesure\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0et\u00a0<em>\u00ab\u00a0Doucement\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>\u00a0. En 1988 il compose son premier album \u00ab\u00a0<em>The man i love<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00bb pour Liane Foly. C\u2019est en 2003 qu\u2019il participe comme Jur\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mission \u00ab\u00a0<em>La nouvelle star\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0sur M6. Il en est aujourd\u2019hui le doyen et d\u00e9finitivement le \u00ab\u00a0gentil\u00a0\u00bb.
