Les sols non hydromorphes de l'alvéole de la tourbière du ruisseau des Dauges sont des podzosols ocriques. La position topographique, l'exposition et la végétation n'interviennent que pour nuancer les humus des sols. Ceux-ci varient entre les podzosols ocriques oligo-saturés à mull-moder sous prairie et les podzosols ocriques humifères ou humiques à humus de type hemimoder sous les landes sèches de type atlantique ou continental et la station à Lycopode, de type dysmoder sous Pin sylvestre.
In the peat bog of Dauges's brook (Limousin) non hydromorphic soils are always ocric podzosols. The topography, the exposition and the vegetation only act in modulating differents humus types : a mull-moder develops under grassland With oligosaturated ocric podzosol, but under atlantic or continental type of heatlands or Lycopodium station, the humus type is an hemimoder With humiferous ocric podzosol. Dysmoder develops With Scots Pine.
