VITAE




I was born in Florence, Italy, in 1987. Since 09/2017 I have been Maître de conférences (full-time researcher / Associate professor) of Université de Limoges, France, where I am part of the Computer Algebra team at XLIM. Before that, I held a postdoctoral position at Technische Universität Dortmund, Germany, working with Daniel Plaumann, from 04/2016 to 08/2017, and at the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences, Toronto, Canada, from 10/2015 to 03/2016. I received a PhD from Université de Toulouse in 09/2015, advised by Didier Henrion and Mohab Safey El Din. I was a visiting researcher of University of California at Berkeley in fall 2014. I got a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Università degli Studi di Firenze, Italy. In February 2022 I received the habilitation as Associate Professor (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) in Algebra and Geometry from the Italian Minister of Education (MIUR).
