The University of Limoges is launching a call for PhD scholarships in Banking and Finance. The selected candidate(s) will be recruited for a period of 3 years. Co-tutorship with other institutions encouraged. Research to be conducted on Financial Intermediation, Bank Risk and Regulatory implications (Basel III, Bank Supervision, Market Discipline, Capital Structure, Bank Governance and Risk, Financial Stability, Systemic Risk, Liquidity Risk...) with strong econometric and/or theoretical background. Other areas in Banking and Finance are also welcome. The selected candidate(s) will be connected to an international research network and hosted by LAPE http://www.unilim.fr/lape/, Director : Pr Amine Tarazi).

The University of Limoges is launching a call for the recruitment of a Post Doc fellow in Banking and Finance. The selected candidate will be recruited for a period of six months or one year and will be hosted by LAPE (Laboratoire d’Analyse et de Prospective Economiques). Offers are limited to candidates who have recently (last 3 years) acquired their PhD degree. The applicant must submit together with an application package, a research proposal in line with the research programme of the hosting research centre (LAPE), http://www.unilim.fr/lape/, Director : Pr. Amine Tarazi. Undergone and ongoing research to be conducted on topics such as bank governance and risk, bank prudential regulation, Basel III, financial stability, systemic risk... with strong econometric and/or theoretical background.

The selected candidate will be recruited for a period of six months (beginning in the second/third quarter of 2011) and will be hosted by LAPE (Laboratoire d’Analyse et de Prospective Economiques). Offers are limited to candidates who have recently (last 3 years) acquired their PhD degree. The applicant must submit together with an application package, a Post Doc proposal in line with the research programme of the LAPE. Undergone and ongoing research to be conducted on the topic of banking market structure, lending behavior and regional economic activity. The research could focus on either macroeconomic or microeconomic issues with strong econometric and/or theoretical background.
