Welcome / Bienvenue
Established in 1992, this research center aims to provide a coherent focus on academic research and research oriented training for PhD students. Substantial resources are made available for faculty members and research students with the support of an extensive and growing international network of researchers from various countries.
The center is currently involved in two research programs :
Program 1 : Bank risk and the efficacy of the new prudential framework
Program 2 : Financial and banking structures, economic performance and development
LAPE has established strong research links with various French universities and research groups (such as GDRE, European Research Group « Money, Banking and Finance », SUERF, The European Money and Finance Forum) and also with foreign universities :
in Europe (University of Birmingham, University of Loughborough, University of Bangor, Copenhagen Business School, University of Groningen) ;
in North America (University of Sherbrooke, New York University Stern School of Business, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute New York, Chapman University Los Angeles, University of Colorado, University of Kansas, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Federal Deposit Insurance Company, Fordham University) ;

Bienvenue
Créé en 1992, le Laboratoire d’Analyse et de Prospective Economiques, LAPE (EA 1088), est un centre de recherche en Economie Bancaire, membre de l’école doctorale « Sociétés et Organisations » du PRES « Limousin, Poitou-Charentes ».
Ses travaux s’articulent autour de deux programmes :
Risque bancaire, efficacité et enjeux des dispositifs prudentiels et
Structures bancaires et financières, performances économiques locales et développement
Le LAPE accueille le Master Banque et Finance composé des deux spécialités :
« Banque, Risques et Marchés » et
« International : Commerce et Finance »
Le LAPE est membre de différents réseaux impliquant à la fois des universités françaises, des institutions nationales mais également internationales tels que GDRE « Monnaie, Banque, Finance », le SUERF (Société Universitaire Européenne de Recherches Financières). Des partenariats multiples impliquant des chercheurs de haut-niveau ont été noués :
