Limoges can be reached by train, plane or car.

Limoges Bellegarde airport is about 10 minutes by car from the Faculty of Science and Technology. For the flight timetable, you can have a look at the airport web site .

Limoges is situated on the following main railway lines: Paris-Toulouse and Bordeaux-Lyon. The SNCF train station (Limoges Bénédictins) is 15 minutes by bus from the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The Faculty of Science and Technology can be reached by either of two city bus lines of the company called TCL (Transport en Commun de la Ville de Limoges): lines 8 and 14. To reach the city centre from the train station, you can take line number 8 or number 10. The map and the timetable can be consulted on the following web site.

It is not possible to buy bus tickets at the train station. The fare for a trip (including connection and/or return trip within the hour) is 1.05 €, and you can buy the ticket directly in the bus. The other solution is to buy a card for 10 trips for 9.10 € or 10 trips within 7 days for 7.30 €. You can buy these cards in a tobacconist/newsagents (there is one near the train station: on the trip from the station to the nearest 8 bus stop).

The bus stop nearest to the train station is located at "Place Jourdan". You just have to leave the train station by the main exit and follow the right-hand side of the railway tracks (direction Paris-Toulouse) until they go under a tunnel. Then you are at Place Jourdan, and you just have to cross the two streets on your right. A pharmacy is on the corner and the bus stop is just alongside it.
There is a bus every 10 minutes. You must take the "Maréchal Joffre" direction. The bus stop to get off at is called " Faculté des Sciences". Be aware that there are no maps inside the bus.
